CSS Admission 2017:

Federal Public Service Commission announces competitive Exam every year in the month of September and October. Students are entitled to apply online through official webpage of FPSC. FPSC announce through newspaper, eligible applicants are desire to appear in the exam.

CSS Exam Eligibility:

1-Students have passed 16 years Bachelor degree with minimum 2.5 CGPA.

2-Age limit for CSS is 28 years.

How to Apply?

1-Follow the right steps mentioned in the form to make application successful for submit.

Student after filling form online from website take print-out and fill required credential with application form. Submit Rs 22, 00 application fee in National Bank of Pakistan Branch in different cities.

2-Attest the major documents.

3-Original TR Slip should be attached in the form, otherwise admission stand unsuccessful. Sent complete documents coupled according with requirement to FPSC.

Tips for CSS Exam to pass successfully are as follows:

1: Carefully select Optional Subject:

Six subjects are compulsory, which mark for each candidate to appear in exam. These six subjects are as follows:

1-English Essay

2-English Précis and Comprehension

3-Pakistan Affairs

4-Current Affairs

5-General Science and Ability

6-Islamic Studies

2: Create Schedule for Preparation:

Applicants are required to commence study with targetable goals that accompanied by standardize schedule. However, elucidate schedule thoroughly and formulate implementation criteria to pull through from CSS papers. Effective planning will work you upon to bear down tough time of life.

3: Article writing on Daily basis:

Writing skill is most important element in exams. Writing skill will reflect paper presentation in front of examiner. So, article writing should be your routine.

4: Extract Vocabulary from Newspaper on Daily Basis:

No one can pass the CSS exams without English vocabulary.Vocabulary is most important aspect of essay writing to easily grasp at the statement of tough exam. Note-1: The question papers in Urdu or other Pakistani regional languages (Punjabi, Sindhi, Pashto and Balochi), Persian and Arabic should be answered in the respective languages.

Note-2: There will be two papers of 100 marks each of the subject which carry 200 marks. In other subjects of 100 marks there will be one paper. Each paper will be of 3 hours duration.

Note-3: Ratio of MCQs in compulsory papers for CE-2016 will be 20 MCQs in each paper except in the paper of Essay. Similarly there will be 20 MCQs from each optional paper except Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics.

Note-4: The question paper in Islamic Studies OR Comparative Study of Major Religions (For Non Muslims) is  to be answered in English or Urdu only. All other papers must be answered in English unless otherwise directed in the Question Paper.

Note-5: Non Muslim Candidates may either opt Islamic Studies OR Comparative Study of Major Religions as may suit to them.
